Privacy policy.

Effective October 21, 2026

Grey Fox Partners (“Grey Fox,” “we,” or “us”) operates greyfoxpartners.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices you have. It also explains how we handle the business contact details of the people we reach out to in the course of our work. Questions about this policy can be sent to inquiries@greyfoxpartners.com.

Information you give us

When you use the contact form or write to us, we receive what you choose to send: your name, your email address, your phone number, how you describe yourself, and your message. When you speak with us afterward, we keep notes of the conversation so that the next person you talk to already knows what was discussed.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and the analytics tool described below record technical information about the visit: your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of the visit. This information is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.

We use one analytics tool on the site.

FullStory records how visitors move through the site, including scrolling, clicks, and the path taken from page to page, so that we can find and fix parts of the site that do not work well. Text entered in the contact form is masked and is not captured in these recordings. FullStory sets a cookie to recognize a returning browser, and you can opt out of FullStory recording on every site that uses it at fullstory.com/optout.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and the site will continue to work.

People we contact

Much of our work involves reaching out to the owners and executives of private companies on behalf of the investment firms we partner with. When we contact you in that setting, we obtained your business contact details, meaning your name, title, company, work email, and work phone, from public sources, professional networks such as LinkedIn, or licensed business data providers. We use those details to introduce ourselves, to explain why a specific firm is interested in your industry, and to continue the conversation with your agreement. Every message we send includes a way to tell us to stop, and we honor that request.

How we use information

We use the information described above to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate whether an engagement or an introduction makes sense, to keep in touch with you about our work when you have shown interest in it, to understand how the site is used and improve it, to protect the site and our systems from abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in the following cases.

Service providers process information for us and are permitted to use it only to provide their services: the company that hosts the site, the system we use to keep our contact records, and the analytics provider named above.

Investment firms we partner with receive information about you or your company only when you have decided to be introduced. No introduction is made without your decision, and nothing you tell us goes beyond the firm behind the conversation.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case the information would remain subject to this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and to evaluate an engagement or an introduction, and we keep contact details and conversation notes as part of our business records for as long as the relationship or our legitimate business need continues. Technical data collected by the site is retained according to the settings of each analytics provider.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you, and every email we send includes a way to do so. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will respond within a reasonable time and in most cases within thirty days. California residents may make the same requests, and we will not treat anyone differently for exercising these rights. Send requests to inquiries@greyfoxpartners.com; we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on them.

Visitors and contacts outside the United States

Grey Fox is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored there, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By contacting us or continuing a conversation with us, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States as this policy describes. For visitors and contacts in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing is your consent when you contact us, the performance of an agreement when we are working with you, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, in business development, and in operating and improving the site. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, to receive a copy of information you provided in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. To exercise any of these rights, write to inquiries@greyfoxpartners.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised, and continued use of the site after a change means the revised policy applies.
